QUALITY CLINICAL CONSULTING

Beginning on the date of admission to the hospital, discharge planning by a multidisciplinary team is necessary for a successful transition to the skilled nursing facility. Patients discharged from the hospital setting frequently require specialized and prolonged respiratory care services. With RC Practitioners acting as a liaison between the acute and long term care settings, continuity of care is maximized and post discharge complications are minimized.

OPTIMIZED RESPIRATORY CARE SERVICES

Advanced services provided are educating the setup & maintenance of noninvasive ventilation (NIV) devices that administer positive pressure ventilation involving NIV technologies such as CPAP, BIPAP, and AVAPS. These devices include home ventilators such as Trilogy, Astral, & LTV. Tracheostomy care, speaking valve trials, specific weaning, tracheostomy decannulation, and laryngectomy stoma care. We have standardized the procedure that is extremely safe. Our skilled and knowledgeable approach will provide the information needed to better understand and care for an adult that requires assistance with airway management or a sleep-disorder.
